Impire Primary School is situated in Metuge District, 50 km from the capital of Cabo Delgado Province, Pemba.
The school currently has 2811 pupils, of which 1579 boys and 1232 girls.
The village of Empire is located 30 km from the nearest school, which means that the school from Grade 7 onwards benefits many pupils from other villages, namely Nanlia, located about 6 km away and Nancaramo, located about 9 km away, forcing pupils to make long daily journeys to continue their studies.
Most of the students' parents live on subsistence farming that allows them to survive, and a small part that they manage to market, helps them to finance their children's studies.
Despite the adversities that these students face, school is the reason for joy for many of them, who nurture the desire to study and build a more promising future.
As the path to get to Impire Primary School is long and arduous, the project aims to benefit with the support of bicycles, the students from grade 7 to 11 in order to make the daily journey to school more accessible and less tiring. And in addition to facilitating the locomotion of the students, they will also be able to benefit their families in carrying out other daily tasks.

Padre Atanásio Mwitu- Miéze Secondary School is located in Metuge District, 25 km from the capital of Cabo Delgado Province, Pemba.
The school currently has 1597 students, of which 839 boys and 758 girls. This school is a community school, with management by the Diocese of Pemba and since 2021 has the 2nd cycle of Secondary Education, which means that it contemplates education from Grade 7 to Grade 12.
Helpo has been present in this school since 2015, and over these eight years the greatest support has been at the level of secondary school scholarships, which allows needy students to continue their studies.
Due to the fact that there are few schools in the District, many students have to make very long journeys to get to school, especially students from Muepane which is 8 km from Miéze, Nacopo 9km, and Niuje 7km.
In order to motivate and encourage students in Miezé not to give up their studies, a bicycle support project was created. The project aims to benefit the 60 students of this school by providing them with bicycles to shorten the long distance they have to travel daily between their homes and school.
The project seeks to make the students' daily commute to school less tiring and easier, allowing them to get to school faster and with less effort. In addition, the bicycles will also serve as a help for their family members, assisting them in other daily tasks.

The Changalane Women's Association consists of women farmers living in Changalane, Namaacha District, Maputo Province.
The women farmers of the Changalane Association have agriculture as their livelihood and most of them are themselves responsible for their families, which means that the family income depends on them.
In their daily lives, they face various difficulties that affect the production of their crops, due to the lack of an improved irrigation system, and mainly due to the lack of a means of transportation that helps them to move around. So these bicycles will certainly make all the difference in accomplishing these and other tasks of their daily lives.
These women farm in common in a field belonging to the association, and each of them has her own plot in this space for her own income. And they also practice dry farming on their private and independent fields, which are far away from the village of Changalane, where they have their houses.
They travel up to 12 kilometers a day on foot, which means that they have to get up very early and only return at sunset, leaving them no time to do other work at home.
Therefore, the campaign aims to raise 40 bicycles for the women farmers of the Changalane Women's Association. The bicycles will help alleviate the daily sacrifice of the miles they walk to reach their fields. On the other hand, they will save time, which will allow them to perform other domestic activities that they cannot perform today due to lack of time, and will allow them to transport their production, either for family consumption or for commercialization in the local market.

The Mamana wa Kurula Welcoming Center is an institution of the Sisters of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. It is a non-profit social work, located 6 km from the town of Boane, in the village Paula Samuel Kankhomba in a rural area. The Center was established in 2010, and is closed as a response to the impact of HIV/AIDS in our Mozambican society.
Due to this illness several families have lost their loved ones infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. The center welcomes girls from 5 to 18 years old, offering them a supportive environment with human and Christian values, allowing them to grow integrally as a person and a woman.
The girls are involved and affected directly or indirectly, because when their mother or father dies, they have to take care of the house, their siblings, and chores that in many cases prevent them from attending school, living their childhood learning and playing. As caretakers and educators, we collaborate so that the children are able to achieve the planned objectives of welcoming, educating, and reintegrating themselves into society as adult women capable of facing today's reality.
The girls main activity is study, but they also do other activities such as sewing, cooking, and taking care of the farm and the younger children.Unfortunately, we do not have a secondary school close to the neighborhood, so the girls have to travel a distance of about 15km to get to school.
The center has a car but cannot take all the children because they are attending school in different shifts, which forces us to pay for public transportation for some girls when the schedules do not coincide. And in turn public transportation in our area is very irregular, so many times they have to walk, which causes them to delay and miss the activities planned at the center. To get to school it takes 40 meticais a day and since there are 23 girls in the secondary school, the center has to spend 920 meticais a week.
The campaign aims to support the 10 girls of the Mamana Wa Kurula where the bicycles will help to change the lives of these children, allowing them more time to reread the contents of the school and participate in activities at the home with the other girls.

Since October 2017, attacks by armed groups have been occurring in the north of Cabo Delgado province, resulting in burnt villages, destroyed infrastructure and the proliferation of fear. The situation intensified in early 2020, causing an increase in the number of internally displaced persons who fled to more southern areas of the province. According to IOM data, there are currently over 500,000 internally displaced persons in Cabo Delgado province, who are living in host communities such as: Impire, Miéze, Mahera and Salaue, coming from the northern districts of the province, especially Mocímboa da Praia, Macomia, Muidumbe and Quissanga.
In search of security, many of these families left with few or no possessions, many without documentation and sought refuge with relatives, friends or acquaintances. These households are very numerous with (about 6-7 people), half of them children. Although they are far from each other (in relation to Pemba, Miéze is 25km away, Impire is 50km away and Saluae is 85km away), there are many characteristics common to the three communities, such as the development of rainfed agriculture, using slash and burn techniques and family farming, as well as informal commerce, which are the main sources of income for the inhabitants. The houses are precariously built, using local materials such as matope (clay), bamboo and grass and access to water is possible through the use of fountains or handmade wells.
The 3 communities have been the target of intervention by Helpo in the areas of Education, Maternal and Child Health and Emergency, but through a Scholarship programme, it has supported the entry and retention of students in secondary education in the 3 communities. Recently, this support has been provided to displaced young male and female students now living in these communities, where the nearest secondary school or annexed halls are about 15-20 km away.
Other families have also managed to develop small businesses such as selling bread, cakes, samosas, etc, which they sell in the local markets.
The campaign aims to collect 100 bicycles, which will help to improve the quality of life of these people, and not only as a means of transport, but also so that the whole family can benefit from this means of transport, increasing their independence at various levels: the children students to ensure their school attendance in distant schools such as secondary schools, the parents in the search for sources of income and / or business creation, in order to increase the chances of subsistence of their families.

Cabo Delgado Province is located in the far north of Mozambique. This province suffered from the passage of cyclone Kenneth in 2019 and is currently suffering from insurgent attacks.
The District of Chiure has a surface area of 4.210 Km2, is and consists of 6 administrative posts, one of which is the administrative post of Ocua, where the Secondary School of Ocua is located.
The ESO was implemented in 2011 and built in 2012 with the support of the District, with the objective of supporting students in their transition from primary to secondary education.
Currently, Ocua Secondary School has 600 students, 186 of whom are 114 boys and 72 girls attending grade 8.
However, the school is quite distant from the students' residences. The students of ESO find it very difficult to get to school on time because they have to walk every day, which leads to delays, absence from classes and dropping out because there is no semi-collective transport.
Sure that bicycles will change their lives, this campaign aims to raise bicycles to support the 140 ESO students who travel long distances to get to school and thus improve their productivity.

This Project lies in one of Mozambikes pillars, EMPLOYMENT, giving Mozambicans specially in remote areas of the country the possibility and the tools to strive. In this case we have identified a special project in the Mozambique Island, part of Nampula Province. “Ilha de Moçambique” in Portuguese, is a special place full of history and endless stories but very poor and the local communities need support.
It’s a place that is visited by numerous foreigners of various nationalities due to its patrimonial cultural, beauty and touristic importance, from the Arabs to the Portuguese and Mozambicans so it’s an interesting blend and beautiful mix of cultures in such a small place and it was once the capital of the country due to its geographic location and importance.
Amisse Ibraimo Abdul is a local Mozambican entrepreneur that has been a tourist guide since a very early age and needs some help to grow his idea and employ more youngsters and make is dream come true. He is now providing various services to residents and foreigners, through tourist excursions, guided tours on and off the island, boat trips around the island in its neighbouring islands but with the bicycles he can grow faster and employ more young kids that otherwise have no future of perspectives of getting a job and end on the streets.
The majority of the tourists come to Mozambique Island for a short time, they do not have the possibility to know all the touristic points if done on foot, because the historical monuments are far away, which makes the tour exhausting for tourists. It’s a small place but still far from end to end if done on foot.
So through the rental of bicycles and putting together a bike repair and maintenance shop will give him sustainability on this new area and allow him to grow the business and help residents, who have bicycles but are unable to repair them by maintaining them.
This campaign, aims to raise 11 bicycles, where it will help to improve the time management of tourists. And with the bicycle workshop will help in the maintenance of bicycles, as a way to ensure their sustainability and thus increase the number of bicycles in Mozambique Island.

Phedza Aphale is a national association, located in Beira, Sofala Province, promoting activities in Youth Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, Culture, Assistance and Social Inclusion, Health, Sports and Exchange between young people from different communities.
The association developed the project, with the objective of supporting girls aged 12 to 20 years old from the communities of Munhava and Manga so that they do not leave school, as a consequence of the lack of transportation. Some of these girls are orphans of parents and others their relatives live only from agriculture, pastoralism, and street sales, which means that they cannot always guarantee their daughter's school sustainability.
These girls from the communities of Munhava and Manga, they travel distances of 5 to 12 km on foot to get to school, so they are forced to wake up at dawn to help with homework and when go to school or to the agricultural course, they already arrive tired and without concentration to watch the lessons or even end up missing, causing them to have poor school performance.
Rarely they take public transportation, as their parents or family members cannot afford it, as it would ultimately affect the family's own livelihood. Even when they have to go to the fields, they travel long distances, because the fields are far from their homes.
The campaign intends to collect 14 bicycles for these girls, where the bicycle will be able to change their lives significantly, since they will be more willing to absorb the contents of classes in a profitable way, at the same time, which will also facilitate their daily chores at home, helping them to have more time to study for a good school performance. And so, we will reduce school dropouts and premature marriages.

In 2017 I started my sweet potato micro-business, where I do the cultivation in Maputo province and distribution in Maputo City. In addition, I manufacture paper bags by hand, which I supply to other businesses that need bags that replace the plastic bag. It was graces to a Mozambike donation that I had the opportunity to expand the distribution of my products. It was in this wider circulation process that I have known, NUED LANGERIE.
NUED LANGERIE proposed that I make the mobile sales and distribution of its products through the city of Maputo. This means traveling about 20km daily. To do this, I had to create more resources: human and transport.
As a dynamic young person who I am and willing to expand my company, focusing on sustainability, efficiency and job creation, I created a small team for the distribution of sweet potato and NUED products.
Knowing the advantages of using bicycles as an environmentally friendly and low-maintenance means of transportation, I ask Mozambikes to donate 2 bicycles so that I can do more work and generate income for more people.
